Market Newsletter
February, 2008
Please note, next month we will discontinue our Market News Letter in printed form. Many of
the suppliers and buyers we work with have been requesting to have it E-MAILED to them.
Should you wish to remain on our circulation list, please revert, either by fax on your letterhead
or by e-mail to diane@uhe.com, with instructions as to whom it should be addressed to along
with their e-mail address..
In our most recent News Letters we addressed the problems suppliers encounter in many parts of the world with production costs rising while the value of the U.S. dollar, the primary trading
currency used in our industry, has been falling. As per information received from various
buyers, this issue has begun to result in defaults, mainly on the part of relatively new, untested
and possibly underfinanced suppliers. Our company has always tried to verify and monitor the standing of the suppliers we deal with and will continue to convey to our buyers worldwide the
offers of mainly traditional shippers, we and our customers have learned to trust.
