CAMPHOR

SYNTHETIC CAMPHOR POWDER USP

MAJOR USES: Used to ease local skin and soft tissue discomfort. Mild inflammatory action which increases circulation to the skin. Camphor has a mild action similar to a local anesthetic. Frequently used to relieve muscular aches and pains, insect bites and local skin irritation.

HOW IT WORKS: Camphor is a local irritant (rubefacient). It increases the blood supply to tissues where it is applied.

DRUG GROUP: Mild blood vessel dilating agent.
